To find out if your insurance covers your prescription, you may call the member services number (which can be found on the back of your insurance card). Your insurance will be able to inform you if your medication is covered, and what the copay would be.
Additionally, if you sign up and your insurance is closed network (doesn't cover pharmacies outside of their network), we will give you the option to proceed as a cash-pay patient. Alternatively, you may provide us with a local pharmacy (name and address) that is in your network and we can send the medication there.
For weight loss medication specifically, most insurance companies require Prior Authorization. To help with your decision and to expedite the process, it may be a good idea to reach out to your insurance provider to inquire which medications are covered on your plan.
